So maybe it might be a traffic issue, something to do with WoWs unable to synch within reasonable time, or possibly not synchronizing at all. Later I attempted to connect around midnight and the issue resolved itself. I attempted to connect at around 8 and the issue occur.
It might be a issue with connectivity with steam and WoWs at specific time. The real problem is that they're on Valve's side as far as i know, but at least they're pretty rare. Those issues are temporary and short-lived, also they can't cause you to lose an account or something. Is it still happening? Steam was a bit wonky this night for me, could be connected. Tried relaunching the game several times and remains the same. Unable to load the game past the synchronizing screen. Funny thing is I've only played the steam version so my name shouldn't be taken.
I entered a new username and it synchronize forever. I attempted to launch the game and when I reach the loading screen it says my username has been taken. I had the steam version installed for a while now. Originally posted by Synne:Hmm I'm having the same problem.
